LightMap AIR™

The LightMap AIR™ display is a standard FAA VFR sectional with illuminated METAR weather conditions. Always on and real-time. Each of the hundreds of lights is projected onto the map surface from the back to give an indication of the weather in your area. (Purple is the worst, followed by red, blue, and green.) Simply wave your hand in front of the display to see the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.

These displays present a high resolution print of a standard FAA VFR sectional with illuminated METAR weather conditions. Metar and weather conditions are shown using hundreds of colored lights and updated in real time.

Amazing Birthday for a Charleston Fisherman

This was an amazing gift for my fisherman husband who loves to know all the things about our waters before he heads out. Thanks Light Map!!

Makes the map look more pleasing to the eye.

The frame added a more “professional” look to the map on the wall. Pilots passing thru our terminal notice it a little sooner than before due to the extra contrast it provides. The plexiglass provides some protection to the map. Since it’s in a public area, it more prone to being touched with bare hands. The only downside is the extra glare from ambient light on the plexiglass that was not there before.

The perfect gift

Purchased a Lightmaps for my son who is CFI and he lived it. He in turn showed it to a CFI friend of his and he ordered one for himself! Great idea and product,!
