This was an amazing gift for my fisherman husband who loves to know all the things about our waters before he heads out. Thanks Light Map!!
The frame added a more “professional” look to the map on the wall. Pilots passing thru our terminal notice it a little sooner than before due to the extra contrast it provides. The plexiglass provides some protection to the map. Since it’s in a public area, it more prone to being touched with bare hands. The only downside is the extra glare from ambient light on the plexiglass that was not there before.
Purchased a Lightmaps for my son who is CFI and he lived it. He in turn showed it to a CFI friend of his and he ordered one for himself! Great idea and product,!
